Shipping Policy

TAV Electric ships across Australia via Australia Post or equivalent courier services. We do not ship to PO Boxes.

Delivery timeframes:
— Metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth): 5–8 business days
— Regional areas: 8–12 business days
— Remote areas: 12–15 business days

Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

Lithium battery notice
TAV Electric kits contain lithium-ion batteries and are classified as dangerous goods for freight purposes. All shipments are handled by couriers certified for dangerous goods transport.

Damaged in transit
Inspect your package before signing. If damage is visible on the outer packaging, note it on the delivery docket before signing. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@tavelectric.com.au with photos.

Returns and Refunds Policy

Australian Consumer Law
All TAV Electric products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Change of mind returns
We do not offer change of mind returns once an order has been dispatched. We strongly encourage you to confirm compatibility with your bicycle before purchasing — our team is available at contact@tavelectric.com.au to assist prior to purchase.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, please contact us immediately at contact@tavelectric.com.au and we will do our best to cancel and refund your order.

Faulty or incorrect items
If your product arrives faulty or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours at contact@tavelectric.com.au. We will arrange return shipping at no cost to you and either replace the item or issue a full refund.

Warranty
All TAV Electric products carry a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear.
